Navigating The Sea Of New Printers Can Be Confusing – Try The Dell 1500 As A Good Option

If you are searching for a new printer, you will quickly discover just how many options are available today. It doesn’t seem so long ago that a printer was a piece of equipment reserved for businesses, but this has forever changed. Now, thanks to cheaper technology, the costs associated with buying and maintaining a new laser printer are very economical. Whether you want a model for your home or office, it is worthwhile reading up on the Dell 1500 printer using Dell 1500 printer toner cartridge as this is the right choice for many people.

Costing less then three hundred dollars, this Dell model is a printer often seen as being efficient, yet also very compact. It can produce up to fourteen pages of high quality prints every minute, a definite positive in comparison to other options in the same price range. Considering its rapid speed, the overall standard of the finished work is more than adequate for most of us.

It is worth noting that if you are used to operating a more expensive top of the line laser printer you may occasionally feel that the Dell Laser 1500 compatible toners standard is low. In a large photograph you may see some smudging and distortion of lines. This is to be expected on any printer that sells for under three hundred bucks. Most of the time, the difference in quality would not be apparent.

Another issue worth thinking about is that this Dell model does not come with a display screen as others do. Whether you think this is necessary will depend upon your needs. As there is no screen, it allows the price to be less than similar size options.

This model uses six lights to highlight any problems when they arise. You will need to learn and understand exactly what they mean, for example a paper jam or low ink. If you want to cancel a print, there is a button you can press on the edge of the control panel.

The monthly maximum of prints that are possible with Dell 1500 toners is approximately 15,000 pages a month. This should be more than enough for every home and small office user. The resolution is 1,200 x 600 dpi, which is fine for documents. You want a more advanced laser printer if you regularly plan on printing high definition photographs.

Another factor you may want to think over is the size of the input tray on this printer. It can hold as many as four hundred pages at once. This would be able to feed the machine for approximately half an hour. There’s also an auxiliary feeder, although the small size renders it quite pointless as it can only handle one envelope at a time.

Before making a decision you should also be aware of the following two points. You can easily alter the darkness and contrast on the Dell 1500 and the memory can be increased up to 144 MB to improve performance. If you are searching for a basic printer that does not break the bank, then this could be the right option for you.

The Dell 1500 toner is certainly a good investment, as Dell toner produces consistently high quality prints suitable for all but the most photo intensive jobs. Using toner appropriate for your needs solves most problems associated with printing.

Samsung SCX 4216D3 Replacement Toner As The Go-To Cartridge

Apr 27 2010

I am a college student and I own a Samsung SCX-4016 printer. On most days, I print out countless pages for the necessary papers I need to submit. It is only practical for me to have my own printer for convenience and efficiency. At times  though, unexpected things happen. I have experienced running out of toner and failing to find the specific cartridge at the same time. On those incidents, I discovered compatibility of different cartridges to various printers. Every time I get into situations like that, I would choose The SCX 4216D3 cartridges as replacement.

This Samsung SCX toner cartridges is carefully designed to cater to the need of quality prints. All the pages I’ve printed using the Samsung toner have came out really well. All of the characters on the paper are sharp and crisp. The high quality toner creates a smooth overall look. I love that it is consistent with its quality. There was hardly any difference on the first and last page I printed.

The toner cartridge is in monochrome and designed specifically for laser printers just like mine. It has a weight of 2.3 lbs that is fitting for its dimensions which is 12.9 in x 6.6 in x 4.6 in. The cartridge is packed with quality ink as it prints 3,000 sheets. It is also compatible with the Samsung SCX-565P, SCX-4116, SCX-4216F, SCX-755P, SF-560 and SF-750 printers.

It is important to take note that there are many fake Samsung toner cartridges out there.  Of course, generic is not in the same category.  You might pay good money for a cheap imitation. This will not only affect your work, but also negate your view on a good product.

The security label is quite distinct in appearance. You should see it on the box of the cartridge. It will catch your eye because of its ability to change color. The label color change is from clear to cyan. If you look a little closer, you’ll see embossed characters. These also change color ranging from gold, red and blue using different angles. What I do is to feel the texture to verify further.

Changing the printer cartridge is easy enough to do. I do this myself with my Samsung printer. First, open the front cabinet where you will see the old cartridge. Remove the cartridge slowly and place it aside. Then, unpack the cartridge from the wrap. It is important that you roll the cartridge slowly to allow for better printing. Slide the ready cartridge in the cabinet until it is secured. Close the cabinet and the printer is all set and ready for use.

One little thing you might want to keep in mind is to keep your old Samsung cartridges. You can recycle them instead of just throwing them out. They still have a little value even when empty. Another option is to have Samsung recycle them for you. All you have to do is mail them back to them. This is in support for their campaign for a greener planet.

There is rarely any problem when it comes to Samsung 4216D3 toner cartridges.  Many local and online retailers carry Samsung SCX toner.  Quality toner and ink cartridges is available and can be found with just a little care.

The economical HP LaserJet 1020 printer using HP 1020 laser toner, looks to be designed by the company to be applicable to the needs of most home office users who have a once in a while print job but nothing too out of the ordinary. It delivers good quality text printing and its overall cost per page is nice and low, owing in part to its retail price. It’s one of a number of 1000-series printers offered by Hewlett-Packard.

Specifically, the 1020 is a black-and-white laser jet printer capable of putting out product at around 14 pages per minute of good quality product. This is average for a printer of this capability and in this market segment. Remember that the 1020 is primarily designed to be a personal printer, and everything should be more than acceptable in terms of what it does.

It can be hooked up to a PC very easily via its USB connection, which is the only way that the printer can be joined up to a personal computer. It has no capability to be operated using a Mac, so keep that in mind if one is contemplating purchasing a low-priced personal monochrome laser printer for use with one of Apple’s products. There are other higher-priced (though not all that much higher in price) printers suitable to that role.

As far as the quality of the print job produced by the 1020, most observers and experts relate that it is fine. At 600 dots per inch print resolution, anything that emerges from the 1020 will look crisp and clean and will also come out after only about 10 seconds. That’s the time from when the print job is sent to the printer by the computer. HP also ensures quality printing by including one of its image enhancement tools in the printer.

The only onboard memory available with the 1020 is 2 MB of RAM, but that’s because the computer it’s attached to will handle most all of its printing processes. A 234 MHz processor is included by Hewlett-Packard to ensure that all of these print jobs are handled quickly and efficiently and in order to get that print task output down to that very-nice 10 seconds.

In terms of the kinds of media stock that 1020 can print out on, the variety is certainly wide enough and includes business card stock as well as labels, plain paper and envelopes along with transparencies. It stores about 150 sheets in its auto load input tray and it has a durability of about 5000 pages per month maximum duty. This is actually a fairly robust number for a small personal printer.

The 1020 uses a single black HP toner cartridges, and it can make good use of a variety of different Windows-based operating systems. This includes Windows ME as well as windows XP and XP Professional. Additionally, Hewlett-Packard Supplies the 1020 with a one-year warranty that can be stretched out past the time for payment of a small fee. It looks to be a durable little printer in the Hewlett-Packard lineup.

When it comes to price, the HP LaserJet 1020 printer can normally be had for about $150, retail and new in the box. The 1020 also can be relied upon to deliver durable and capable functionality across most tasks and it will do so with a fair amount of these. Check the Internet before buying, because some stores have been selling this model as much as $400. However, for the $150 price tag, getting a 1020 would seem to be a smart decision to make. Replacement HP LaserJet 1020 toner can be found online at any website that sells HP ink and toner. Toner cartridge is the ink that the printer uses.
