The current technology keeps me in touch with people with whom I would not have any contact. On the other hand, it makes me less likely to visit friends who are close enough to see easily. The biggest problem I see with current technology is the cell phone phenomena… people who aren’t able to do anything without their ear attached to the phone are actually dangerous on the road and rude in restaurants.

if i'm not mistaken, yahoo search marketing has a regional office or offices in these "up and coming" regions like malaysia, indonesia, thailand, etc. i don't think they have "authorized reseller" per se. if you want to know for sure, and if yahoo is willing to give you the information, you can contact yahoo search marketing in Burbank to find out.

You’re supposed to have said "affected" instead of "effected". Get that right.

Anyway, our technology has eliminated the need to go to each other’s houses. That’s a GOOD thing. Make no mistake about it. Gone is the hassle of gettin’ ready to go out, and having to travel to where your friends are. The internet is one big global party. We are in a golden age. It’s even funner to talk to a bunch of friends online than in person. In person, you cant always say to some what u dont want others to hear. Online, you can do all that and more. You can do a ton of things at once. Before, you couldn’t.

The Internet is the greatest thing to happen to humanity and life is forever good because of it.

SEO Books will be outdated very quickly. Your best source is to first have an excellent understanding of web development, html, asp, design concepts and design standards.

You need to take online courses. These can be expensive from the top online schools but worth it in the end. You need to sign up fro the best feeds, ezines, forums that are online.

You need to be familiar with Google webmaster guidelines, ppc, link building, sem and social networking.

You have to know how to market yourself as a professional. You best bet is after training find a mentor who can guide you and teach you the ropes.

Learn how to search for what you are looking for as well. If you want to do SEO and SEM, then know how to find best information online. There are many and what I feel is best you may not based on your time, budgets and so on. So do some heavy research and reading as that will help you grow as well.

You are definetely going to need a SEO Software if u wanna be an SEO expert and SEOElite is the best one in the market . I think it is pushing personalities, real expression and emotion into the closet. We have so many ways of communicating by written word and phones that the needs all humans have for personal and physical contact are not being met. What this will mean for younger generations is yet to be seen. But adults, the elderly in particular, need personal contact. Loneliness is as deadly and as painful as any decease.

There’s 2 types of search engine marketing. First there’s paid marketing where you pay every time someone clicks on your ad. This is what the first 2 answers are referring to. You can do this thru Overture (a Yahoo company) or you can do this thru Google Adwords.

The second Search Engine marketing method is when you are optimizing your site and the tagging (meta tags) of your site to receive optimal placement when search engines spider (read) your site tags. This typically occurs once every 4 to 6 weeks. In addition, you need to get other related web sites to have a link on their site and point to your site. The more links to your site, the more important the search engines consider your site to be. If your site is considered important, your site will appear in ‘free’ search results on Google and Yahoo.

Here’s an example — go to Google. Type in ‘web hosting’ as your search criteria. The first FREE link that appears is FortuneCity. This happens because there are millions of pages that point to their home page because they have a free web hosting product. They don’t pay to appear on that page at all.
